GET LIVE IN A WEEK / INFORMATION
TERMS OF USE
Last updated:
1. About this website
Get Live in a Week presents independent web design and development services. These terms describe website use and the general service offer. A separately signed project agreement establishes each client’s scope, price, deliverables, and contractual obligations.
2. Inquiries and project acceptance
Submitting an inquiry is a request to discuss a project. It does not purchase services, reserve a start date, create a project agreement, or begin the seven-day timeline. Projects are accepted after the scope and terms have been agreed in writing.
3. The seven-day offer
The seven-calendar-day timeline begins on the start date agreed in writing, after the project agreement is signed, the scope is approved, and all required client-supplied materials and access are available.
Calendar days include weekends. Delivery under this offer means a publicly launched website, not only a design preview or file handover.
The seven-day schedule covers the agreed scope and one consolidated revision round. It requires client feedback and approvals within 24 hours of a request during the agreed build period, together with timely access and materials.
A second in-scope revision round is included in the quoted price but extends the delivery schedule. The revised launch date will be confirmed in writing. Additional revision rounds or work outside the agreed scope require a separately approved fee and schedule.
4. Revisions and client participation
A revision round means one consolidated set of feedback on work within the approved scope. New features, additional pages, or a substantial change of direction may be changes to the scope rather than revisions.
Corrections required because delivered work does not meet the agreed specification are handled separately from client-requested revisions.
Client delays in feedback, approvals, materials, or access may require a corresponding schedule adjustment. Any change to the launch date will be communicated rather than treated as an unannounced extension.
5. Scope, pricing, and payment
Projects are individually scoped and priced. The quoted price covers the work expressly included in the agreed scope. Payment milestones, any deposit, third-party expenses, cancellations, refunds, and remedies for delivery issues are addressed in the signed project agreement.
There is no universal deposit, refund rule, or third-party subscription allowance implied by this website.
6. Deliverables and ownership
The project agreement specifies the files, source code, designs, account access, and other deliverables the client will receive, together with ownership or licensing terms and any conditions for transfer.
Get Live in a Week retains reusable components, tools, and general development methods. Rights to use any retained components included in a client’s website must be stated in the project agreement. Third-party software, fonts, images, and other licensed materials remain subject to their applicable licenses.
7. Portfolio display
Project agreements address portfolio permission. Unless the client opts out in writing or confidentiality restrictions apply, the publicly launched project may be displayed in the portfolio with a description of the services provided. Confidential information, private correspondence, unpublished materials, and account access details are not included.
8. Website content and acceptable use
Website text, designs, images, and other materials belong to their respective rights holders. Visiting the website does not transfer ownership or grant unrestricted reuse rights.
Do not use the website to submit unlawful material, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or infringe the rights of others. Use permitted by applicable law is not restricted by this paragraph.
9. Results and external services
Portfolio examples illustrate particular projects, not guaranteed commercial outcomes. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the service does not promise a particular search ranking, traffic level, sales result, or revenue increase.
Third-party links do not mean we operate those websites. Ongoing maintenance, hosting management, and post-launch support are included only where specified in the project agreement.
10. Updates and project agreements
Website terms may be updated by publishing a revised version with a new date. Updating this page does not, by itself, amend an existing signed project agreement. Mandatory legal rights are not excluded by these terms.
